In the 1980’s Anne was a member of my Art staff in Paisley Grammar. She was not only an inspiring and creative teacher, she was a lovely lady, gracious and self-effacing. We kept in touch for many years after her retirement. My sincere condolences to her family.

I was deeply distressed to see the notice of Anne’s death. It is many years since last I saw her, not indeed since she moved to Leeds after Blythe’s death; but we still exchanged Christmas cards and I was always cheered to hear from her. Anne will be much missed and her memory cherished by all who knew her in the West-end of Glasgow. She and Blythe were a lovely couple. My sympathies and deepest condolences go to all her family. Ronnie Nicolson.
