MacNICOL - David Dewar 1939-2022 Professor David Dewar MacNicol (PhD, D.Sc (Glasgow) FRSC (Edinburgh)) of School of Chemistry, University of Glasgow has sadly passed away peacefully on Friday 5th August 2022 at Glasgow Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. David was a great Scientific Scholar and was a true gentleman of immense humility, great integrity and dignity at all times. He will be very sadly missed by his close friends and relatives.
