SMITH - Valerie Hugh, Lesley, Alan and Hazel wish to convey their thanks and appreciation to all friends and neighbours for the support shown to the family during Val's illness and for sending cards and letters expressing sympathy at their loss. We are grateful for the care and attention provided by the doctors and nursing staff at Marnock Medical Practice, Crosshouse Hospital, The Beatson, Ayrshire Hospice and East Ayrshire Carers. Thank you also to the Rev. David S. Cameron for so ably conducting the funeral service and to Thomas McKellar & Sons for their guidance and organisation of funeral arrangements.
