What's the story?

The first is Long Live Livi, directed by Parisa Urquhart and Ling Lee, which follows three young girls – known as The Snagglerats – in their bid to breathe new life into Livingston Skate Park.

Tell me more.

During the 1980s and 1990s, the park regularly attracted some of the best pro-skaters in the world. Now, almost 40 years after it first opened, its surfaces have deteriorated and become dangerous.

With the help of their mums and old-school skaters, the Snagglerats set out to learn more about Livingston's remarkable skateboarding history, viewing 8mm archive footage, photographs and magazines.

Anything else?

There's a blast from the past as international skate legend Tony Hawk fondly reminisces about visiting Livingston at a time when Scotland had one of the few skate scenes in Europe.

Long Live Livi deftly stokes nostalgia alongside driving home an important message about getting more girls and young women into the sport.

When can I watch?

Long Live Livi is on BBC Scotland, Thursday, 8.30pm.
