GAIA-Wind is working with researchers at Strathclyde University to develop more efficient small wind turbines.

Engineers from the Glasgow business are collaborating with the university's Centre for Advanced Condition Monitoring on ways to maximise the performance of systems in the future.

Johnnie Andringa, chief executive at Gaia-Wind, said: "As energy prices continue to rise, development of the efficiency and reliability of our small wind turbines becomes even more important."
