PAGAN Osborne is launching a new family law unit with the hire of two staff from a rival firm.

Jackie McRae becomes a partner and head of family law in the Edinburgh office. She is also a qualified social worker,

Ms McRae, formerly of MHD Law, is expected to take up the post early next year and is bringing solicitor Cameron Shaw with her.

She said; "This is the start of a very exciting chapter as we launch and build a strong family law service at Pagan Osborne."

The firm employs more than 100 people across its six offices in Edinburgh and Fife.
