MANUFACTURING firm Vert Rotors has seen turnover increase by almost 200 per cent to more than £500,000 in a breakthrough year which saw a scaled up model of its flagship product introduced.

Vert, established in 2013 by Olly Dmitriev, makes low-vibration air compressors which generate electrical power by air.

The record year in 2017 was driven by the launch of the VERT.500 compressor, which was 10-times the size of the firm’s original model.

Now, to keep up with demand, the business has expanded its precision manufacturing facility in Edinburgh to offer the company more space to increase production. To facilitate this, Vert Rotors has hired five new design and manufacturing engineers.
