FIFE-based Havelock Europa has said the company’s chief financial officer, Donald Borland, intends to resign in April following approval of its 2017 accounts. The fit-out specialist recently secured a funding package to help implement the strategic plan developed by chief executive Shaun Ormrod. Its finance head, Bruce Middleton, will assume responsibility for finance matters pending the appointment of a permanent board replacement for Mr Borland. Mr Ormrod thanked Mr Borland for everything he had done in his time in the role and said he left with the board’s best wishes.
