YOU would be forgiven for rolling your eyes every time you look at a newspaper, switch on the radio or flick on the news channel to see the latest round of debates at Westminster.

But as you glance skywards you may not realise that there is a lot going on up there.

Scotland’s universities and start-ups are leading the way in many areas of space technology ... from small satellite design and manufacture to detailed data analysis. And with two launch locations in Sutherland and Ayrshire there is potential to take the sector even further.

In a world-beating first, Business HQ has been celebrating Scotland’s successes in space by sending a copy of the magazine cover high into the stratosphere.
We pride ourselves on taking a broader view...  and now we have the evidence to back that up. It shows that sometimes, when people work together, anything is possible and the sky is no longer the limit.
