NEW flights from Edinburgh to Billund, the birthplace of Lego, have been announced.

The flights with budget carrier Ryanair are twice weekly and offer access for Lego tourists and people seeking outdoors activities to the areas around the central Denmark town.

Edinburgh Airport said: "Known for being the birthplace of Lego, Billund boasts a number of Lego-based activities - visit the Lego Inside Tour for a behind-the-scenes look at the toy’s creation or visit the theme park made from 60 million Lego bricks."
