ACCOUNTANCY firm Campbell Dallas has expanded its headquarters at Braehead near Glasgow to accommodate the growth of its graduate trainee and apprentice programme.

The firm, part of international accountancy network CogitalGroup, is investing more than £250,000 to extend the office by 4,000 sq ft, giving it the space to house up to 80 more members of staff.

The move comes with Campbell Dallas on track to bring on 15 new apprentices and graduate trainees this year under its Earn and Learn talent development programme. Along with 30 current staff moving into the new area, the recruits are expected to take up more than half of the new space at the office.

Campbell Dallas noted that it has recruited 119 apprentices and graduate trainees since 2013, which included the recruitment of 13 school leavers in 2018.

And it said a recruitment drive for staff at all levels will likely see the extra space fully occupied by the end of the year, taking the headcount to more than 200. Partner Peter Gallanagh said: “The extra space will be a huge asset to the Glasgow office, which has seen double digit organic growth over the last five years. The additional capacity will allow us to continue our strategy of investing in our people, the latest technology, office systems and mobile working facilities.”
