SOUTH Lanarkshire firm Errington Cheese’s hard ewes’ milk cheese, Corra Linn, has been hailed at the Word Cheese Awards.
Corra Linn was named Best Scottish Cheese at the 32nd World Cheese Awards, in Bergamo, Italy, after a record-breaking 3,804 entries from 42 different countries were judged in a single day at Fiera di Bergamo, in the largest cheese-only festival.

Corra Linn has been in production since 2008, when Errington Cheese moved to create its first hard cheese to make use of a glut of sheep’s milk in the spring and early summer.
Made with unpasteurised milk and vegetarian rennet and matured from between four to 12 months, Corra Linn is described as having a “characteristic nutty flavour with sweet notes”.
