JOHN Menzies has won contracts to provide additional ground handling services for a Canadian airline as the company looks to boost its growth in the aviation support market it chose to focus on.

John Menzies bolsters board after falling into red

Edinburgh-based Menzies will support Sunwing Airlines at two airports in the USA and one in Canada under the three-year deals. The value of the contracts was not disclosed.

John Menzies already provides handling services for Sunwing at 15 airports in the Americas.

After John Menzies fell into the red in the first half, its chief executive Giles Wilson said the company needed to focus on boosting its organic growth rate.. He said this would involve strengthening its engagement with customers.
