Proposals to build 31 new houses in the village of Kippen, by developer Dawn Homes, have received planning approval from Stirling Council.

Members of the council's planning and regulation panel have approved the application for the proposed housing development on land near Burngreen at the southern edge of the village.

The planned development includes nine affordable homes. The development will comprise a mixture of detached, semi-detached and terraced housing.

The application was brought before the panel because 11 objections to the proposal were received.
