ACCOUNTANCY firm Azets has promoted four Scottish partners into senior leadership roles as it targets growth in the UK and overseas.
Chris Horne has been appointed deputy chief executive of Azets, which bills itself as the UK’s largest regional accountancy and business advisor to small and medium sized enterprises.
Mr Horne became managing partner for Azets in Scotland and Northern England after it acquired the Campbell Dallas business he used to run.
Azets said Mr Horne will support chief executive Dawn Marriott on the development and expansion of the business across Europe and the UK.
Peter Gallanagh has won promotion to the role of chief executive Scotland and the North at Azets after serving as regional managing partner for the firm in Glasgow.
Greig McKnight has succeeded Mr Gallanagh. Bernadette Higgins has been promoted to head Azet’s external audit business in Scotland.
Ms Marriott said the four appointees brought considerable experience in the development of a fast-growing accountancy firm and would play key roles as Azets expands both internationally and across the UK.

Campbell Dallas was acquired by Baldwins in 2017 along with Scottish rival Springfords. Baldwins snapped up Scotland's Scott Moncrieff in 2019.
Baldwins was part of CogitalGroup, which also owned the Nordic-focused Azets business.
In September CogitalGroup rebranded as Azets.
