ASCENSOS has made a significant investment into Cape Town-based technology business Digital Tribe after its recent expansion into South Africa.

The Motherwell-based customer service outsourcing firm said the move follows the launch its operation in Cape Town, which has just opened in and is set to create 600 jobs in its first year.

Ascensos, which employs over 3,000 across the UK, Romania and Turkey, has taken an equity stake in the autonomous customer solutions specialist.

John Devlin, chief executive and co-founder of Ascensos, said the partnership is “a fantastic opportunity”.
