He did so on Saturday but managed to dress up his criticism of referee Alan Muir masterfully and in a way which would not hit his pocket. He sent four headers wide or over, two into the arms of Dani Mallo, saw the goalkeeper produce an instinctively brilliant save with his feet from another so that when he whanged in the goal with his left foot, it seemed downright inappropriate.
