I am astounded at the hypocrisy of Gordon Strachan's comments that the state of Fir Park is making a laughing stock of Scottish football. (Bigger picture doesn't look good to Strachan, March18).
In particular, his comments that people want to see the best of stadia, the best players and the best product on the park at all times raised an eyebrow.
This is why fans of teams like Dundee United and Hibernian get peeved when their best players are whisked off to warm the bench in Glasgow.
Both Rangers and Celtic are only interested in being "proud of the league" until it starts beating them on a regular basis.
So spare us the fake sentiment Mr Strachan, it is only Old Firm greed that stops our league growing.
Caoimhin Cordell, Broughty Ferry Boyd omission leaves Rangers fans frustrated Walter Smith (Nobody does it better, March 17) says Kris Boyd is "a little bit of a frustrating character" after he played two get-out-of-jail cards for Rangers on Sunday.
Well, Mr Smith, I've got news for you - it's the Rangers fans that are a little bit frustrated by your continued reluctance to play Boyd.
Yes, the team are doing well on a number of fronts. But football is about entertainment and goal scoring. Boyd is the second fastest scorer of 50 goals for Rangers, after Jim Forrest. He's scored five hat-tricks for Rangers. He is the second highest scorer in the Scottish Premier League ever and he's only 24.
An oft-quoted statement is that he doesn't score goals at the highest level. What rubbish. This is a player who has scored seven goals in 13 international appearances.
So carry on being a little bit frustrated Mr Smith, with your No.1 weapon on the bench. Celtic will laugh all the way to the league title.
Robert Gibb, Rosebank Hadden should go now For Andy Nicol to suggest that Frank Hadden should be judged after the summer tour to Argentina is absurd.
Test match defeats will only compound the fact that Hadden is a second rate international coach who should really have stuck to schools rugby.
