Saturday Kitchen viewers are still unhappy with the choice of presenters who are attempting to fill James Martin’s shoes, judging by social media.
Former model turned celebrity chef Lorraine Pascale is the second person to step into the challenging role, following Michel Roux Jr, who took over on April 2.
The cook is best known for BBC Two series Baking Made Easy and Home Cooking Made Easy, but much of her BBC television work to date has been on pre-recorded shows.

The 43-year-old was joined by top chefs Michael Caines and Nathan Outlaw. TV vet Noel Fitzpatrick faced his food heaven or hell.
Lorraine thanked her supporters as she acknowledged how tough a gig Saturday Kitchen is on Twitter.
Loved presenting the show massive thanks to @saturdaykitchen tough job but loads of fun. Kudos to @jamesmartinchef it’s a challenging gig ❤️

However, some viewers who posted on the social media site did not think much of her presenting style.
James Martin still rules
James Martin left big shoes to fill and Lorraine Pascale doesn't come close😞 #saturdaykitchen

Today's #SaturdayKitchen makes you realise how brilliant James Martin was – regardless of their relentless tweets promoting Lorraine Pascale

Just caught a bit of Lorraine Pascale's reading of the autocue on Saturday Kitchen #wooden pic.twitter.com/Qo1KMwhUdB

Watching Saturday Kitchen Live. Lorraine Pascale is showing us that James Martin was pretty damn skilful at keeping it all going smoothly.

Bring back James Martin – Lorraine Pascale is uncomfortable to watch

Lorraine Pascale looks like a rabbit caught in headlights, Come back James Martin! #saturdaykitchen

Strike that, I bet James Martin isn't watching Saturday Kitchen because Lorraine Pascale is setting it on fire & crashing it into a ditch.

I love #saturdaykitchen but it's just too awkward with Lorraine Pascale. Shows how difficult live TV is. Bring back Michel… or James!

Love Lorraine Pascale. She's so gorgeous. She's doing fine now on #SaturdayKitchen
Such a tough live show to do—James made it look easy.— Frapp (@FritzFrapp) April 9, 2016
People are being harsh on Lorraine Pascale. First day on the job and doing very well. James had 10 years. Live TV is HARD! #saturdaykitchen

#saturdaykitchen Lorraine Pascale not bad and a tad more practice will be as good as James Martin!!

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
