With it's natural larder and fondness for the finest ingredients, Scotland is not short of food offerings worthy of awards.
With a growing street food scene sprouting across the country, chefs are getting more adventurous with recipes and ingredients and bringing their food to the masses.
This weekend, Edinburgh's renowned street food market, The Pitt, is hosting the Scottish Street Food Awards supported by Hellman's, bringing vendors from all over Scotland to have a bite at the big prize - a chance to represent their home country at the British finals in London.

Tantatlise your taste buds this Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 10pm and feast your eyes (and tummies) on some of the best street food on offer.
What can I eat?
Haddock kedgeree burritos, bao buns, ice cream sandwiches, beef brisket, Peruvian cow hearts and vegan 'cheeze' toasties are just some of the toe-curlingly good bites on offer.
Who is competing?
The range of vendors duking it out to be crowned the best of Scottish street food is staggering - there really is somehting there for every taste.
Vote for your winner
You can vote for your favourite trader after sampling what they have to offer alongside guest judges.
Winners will go on to represent Scotland in the UK finals and could go on to compete in the European Street Food Awards in Sweden later this year.
