The Royal Glasgow Institute is recruiting new members and has introduced a new £10 annual rate to attract some young blood.
The new Young Art Lover membership is open to under 25s only and runs January to January, like the standard membership, which is £30 for 2015. Benefits of membership include free entry to the Annual Exhibition, invitations to all private views, free submission of work to the Annual Exhibition, submission of work to the RGI Winter Exhibition and special discounts on talks, events and selected stock. The RGI Kelly Gallery in Glasgow's Douglas Street re-opens after the Christmas break on Tuesday, and the current Winter Exhibition runs to January 24.
