Souters Johnnie's Gallery (Open April - September)

Tam o’ Shanter’s partner-in-mischief was said to be based on John Davidson, the souter (shoemaker) who lived in this thatched cottage with his family in the late 18th century. Within the cottage discover changing exhibitions of local arts and craft. This small gallery and gift shop retains the atmosphere of Davidson’s family home and workshop while providing a showcase for local talent. 

Greendolphins Glass Studio (weekends 11am to 5pm)

Visit Greendolphins Glass Studio where artist Duncan Stewart works in the medium of kiln-formed glass. Using a kiln to heat glass to up to over 800 degrees celsius, he creates art by fusing glass, recycled glass (windows or bottles) and specialist art glass from the USA. His pieces also incorporate wire, glass paint, metal foil, etc. The look and feel of the finished piece can vary, depending on how it is fired in the kiln.
