McWILLIAM - James Peacefully at Bearsden, Glasgow on 8th December 2019. James (formerly of the Old Manse, Balfron), aged 105 years, much loved husband of the late Agnes, loving father of Robin and David, father-in-law of Kathleen and Lorna. Much loved Grandfather of Alan, Carole, Sarah and Emma and a proud great-grandfather of Orla, Oona and George. (Private family funeral by own request).

It is with much sadness that I write on reading of the death of your Dad. A quite remarkable man and extraordinary life indeed. We remember him, and your Mum, with great fondness for their kindness and generosity.
