LUGTON - James (Edinburgh/Glasgow) Jim died peacefully, on 28th March, 2024, aged 72, at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, after a short illness. Beloved husband of Caroline, elder brother to Gary, son of the late Cathie and Jimmy Lugton (Oxgangs, Edinburgh) and a wonderful friend and colleague to all who knew him. A service to celebrate Jim's life will be held on Friday, 19th April at 1.15pm at Cardross Crematorium, G82 5HQ, to which all are welcome. At Jim's request, those attending are asked to wear a splash of colour. Family flowers only, but donations to Scottish Mountain Rescue would be greatly appreciated.
