THE Church of Scotland minister at the centre of the Orkney child abuse scandal in 1991 has died following a long battle with illness. The Rev Morris McKenzie, who died at his Brechin home aged 75, was minister for South Ronaldsay and Burray when he became implicated in allegations of ritualistic child abuse following the removal of nine children from their homes in South Ronaldsay.
