ALLIED Domecq yesterday confirmed that it has sold its Cantrell & Cochrane drinks distribution business in Ireland to BC Partners.
The venture capital
company is paying #530m in the deal which is expected to be finalised next week.
Allied, which had considered a flotation of the business, will use the proceeds to reduce debt which at the end of last August stood at #1.4bn.
