THE Takeover Panel has been asked to open a fresh investigation into City Site Estates chief executive Louis Goodman's attempt to take the listed property company private.
The new investigation will centre on the sale by Union Bancaire Privee of a crucial block of shares to Woodvale, the Goodman family trust which has offered #4.37m for City Site. The deal was completed last Tuesday, when Woodvale announced it had received acceptances from shareholders controlling 52.5% of City Site.
