City of Edinburgh Kings and Troon Tornadoes will meet at Portobello High School today for the first time since their controversial Scottish Cup final clash at Glasgow's Kelvin Hall last April when Kings emerged winners by a single point.

Troon, unbeaten in the Scottish League this season, are desperate to avenge their last-second defeat and are hoping to entice another former Rangers player out of retirement to aid their quest. Scottish internationalist Dave Conquer, like Jim Morrison, was a member of Kevin Cadle's Glasgow Rangers side of the 1980s and has been back training with the Ayrshire side.

The senior game, which tips off at 5.30pm, is the climax of a triple-header between the two clubs which starts with a vital cadet clash at 1.30pm.

It is also a big weekend for St Mirren, who entertain City of Edinburgh women at Linwood tonight and travel to Easterhouse to play Glasgow d2 men tomorrow.
