TWENTY-one-year-old Stuart Docherty, of Calderwood Drive, High Blantyre, Lanarkshire, who was convicted of murdering Mr John Kane, 21, outside his home in Sutherland Street, High Blantyre, on January 22, this year, while out of prison on licence from a six-year sentence, was jailed for life at the High Court in Glasgow, yesterday.
