More than 80 women caught up in a medical centre blunder in which equipment used for internal examinations was not properly sterilised were yesterday told there was an ''extremely low'' chance of infection.
Letters have been sent to the 83 women who underwent examinations at Menston Medical Centre in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, between May 2 and June 28.
