The biggest exhibition of Mies's work ever seen in Britain, this exhibition presents rare, original pieces of furniture from the period 1926-1930. It focuses on the three most emblematic architectural works of this period: the Wesienhoffsiedlung in Stuttgart, the Barcelona Pavilion, and the Villa Tughendhat in Brno.

Glasgow 1999 and the BBC transform the city centre for the city's biggest day out of the decade. Eight live music stages, the Streets Live Parade, international street theatre, and the world premiere of Improbable Theatre's Sticky.
