CLYDEBANK are set to swoop for Brechin City's Craig Feroz after manager Ian McCall watched the 20-year-old striker score in City's 4-3 win over Stenhousemuir.

Feroz has already had a week's trial with Scunthorpe United, but would prefer to stay in Scotland. He is unlikely to want to stay with Brechin if they are relegated, which will be almost certain if they lose at home this afternoon to third-placed Stranraer.

Campbell Money's men have given themselves a chance of promotion. They are only four points off the top and they can be upsides with Livingston if Jim Leishman's team lose to fourth-placed Queen of the South.

Although their own chances has just about gone, Queens are likely to have a big say about promotion, as they have yet to host Stranraer and visit Clydebank.

Stenhousemuir stopper Chris Innes will spend next week training with Kilmarnock, who face fierce competition for the big defender's signature from Celtic, Hibs, and Southampton.

The defender will have other things on his mind when Stenhousemuir travel to Inverness to meet Caley Thistle in a relegation battle. Caley won comfortably when the sides met at Ochilview a few weeks ago and will hope to leapfrog over their visitors and further away from Clyde.

The Bully Wee are hosts to East Fife, who seem destined to see out the season in mid-table. Clyde still have a chance of saving themselves but must win home matches such as this.

Leaders Clydebank are at home to Forfar, who could yet feature in the relegation issue, as they are only five points above Clyde.
