Glasgow have promoted 18-year-old Craig Murdoch to the district's Under-21 team for the match against Scottish Universities at Old Anniesland on Sunday (2pm). The Ayr full back played for Glasgow throughout the Under-19 district championship in October.

Glasgow's selection is confined almost exclusively to those who will be eligible for Under-21 district rugby next season. The only exception is Robert Harvey, the Cartha Queen's Park prop, who provides front-five experience against the universities. Glasgow team:
