Gary McAllister will continue his battle for a European
Championship place in the Highlands next month.
The Coventry City midfielder has pledged to play for the Sky Blues in a testimonial for Ross County's long-serving midfielder Robbie Williamson in Dingwall on Sunday, October 11.
Williamson, who had a short spell with Rangers, is taking a #7500 gamble on the glamour game by using a large chunk of his testimonial fund to fly
Gordon Strachan's men north.
Strachan has promised to include Dion Dublin, Darren Huckerby and #2m signing from Wolves, Gary Froggatt in the squad in an effort to guarantee a full house.
