A32-year-old motorcyclist has died in a crash with a car travelling in the opposite direction.
The man died at the scene of the accident, on the A71, a mile east of Strathaven, Lanarkshire. He was riding his Suzuki motorbike east when he was involved in the crash with a Ford Mondeo at about 10.50am yesterday.
The male car driver, 53, and a 63-year-old female passenger were slightly injured and were released after treatment from Wishaw General Hospital.
