IAN HARTY, the Clyde striker, last night joined his manager, Billy Reid, in sealing a move to Hamilton Academicals for next season.

Harty has scored 18 goals this season and is excited about teaming up with Reid again. He said: "Billy gets the best out of me. There were a number of clubs interested but I want to work under him."

The loss of both men is a huge blow to Clyde and Craig Brown, the former Scotland manager who once managed the club, is helping them find adequate replacements.

Club spokesman John Ruddy said: "Craig has experience in dealing with contracts and is assisting us."
