ARMED police arrested a man yesterday following a three-hour siege at a farmhouse in Burnhouse, near Beith, north Ayrshire.
The incident was linked by police to a robbery at Bax Global Distributors in Hillington industrial estate in Glasgow, when three men threatened a van driver, stealing the van and its high-value load.
