CHICAGO: The largest study of its kind completed so far on tacrine, a
drug for Alzheimer's disease, shows it may help victims regain some
memory loss and ease other symptoms, researchers said yesterday.
''It's extremely positive news for the drug,'' said Mr Peter Wolf, a
spokesman for Parke-Davis, which makes the drug.
