A FORMER lord provost and freeman of Perth, David K. Thomson, has
died. He was 82.
Born in the Perth in 1910 he served two terms as civic head from 1966
to 1972, ending a 20-year career in local government.
A former chairman of the family-run Peter Thomson (Perth) Ltd, the
whisky blenders and wine importers, he was one of Perth's best known and
respected businessmen.
