IT will be several days before police can identify human remains

encased in a concrete slab found under the floor of a house. A Home

Office pathologist, Dr Hugh White, is using a hammer and chisel to try

to extricate the remains from the one-ton slab removed to a city

mortuary from the house in Southville, Bristol. Police refuse to

speculate on whether they are those of car dealer Wayne Lomas, 31, who

disappeared five years ago from his home in Bristol.
