THE World Indoor Championships received a boost yesterday when
Churchill Insurance announced a three-year sponsorship deal worth
#750,000.
BBC Television also have agreed a three-year deal with the organisers,
the World Indoor Bowls Council. This season's event will start at the
Preston Guild Hall on February 21, with world singles champion Richard
Corsie chasing a fourth win in six years.
