Injured cyclist airlifted off Eigg

A 22-year-old cyclist was airlifted from a remote Scottish island with serious injuries.

The woman was involved in a collision with a vehicle on the Isle of Eigg at 7.30am yesterday. She was flown by Stornoway Coastguard search-and-rescue helicopter to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. Her condition is unknown.
