Ed Miliband gave 78-year-old voter Brenda White a kiss after she told him the spot where he gave a soapbox-style speech was where Clement Attlee had addressed voters 68 years earlier.
The Labour leader was taking part in last-ditch campaigning for the English local elections in Long Eaton, Derbyshire, when he found out that Britain's then Prime Minister Mr Attlee had spoken there during the 1945 election, which he won.
