The Free Church has been successful in its bid to buy the former Church of Scotland in the picturesque village of Plockton near Kyle of Lochalsh for just over the asking price of £90,000.
The Free Church has been holding services in the church for 30 years, after its own building was sold for residential development. A community group had also wanted to buy the church.
