FOUR teenagers have made a second appearance in court accused of breaking into the Clutha bar 18 days after the helicopter disaster that claimed 10 lives.
Darren Melrose, 18, Jordan Parry, 16, Billy Jo Revie, 16, and a 16-year-old girl from Linwood, Renfrewshire, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are alleged to have broken into the Clutha pub on Stockwell Street, Glasgow, on December 17 and stolen alcohol and charity tins from the interior.
Yesterday they appeared separately in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court, each facing a charge of theft by housebreaking. Each made no plea or declaration.
Mr Melrose and Mr Parry, both from Glasgow, and the 16-year-old girl were remanded in custody. Ms Revie, from Govan, was granted bail.
Three people inside the police helicopter and seven people inside the pub were killed when the aircraft crashed into the roof of the pub on November 29.
Investigators are still trying to establish the cause of the crash.
