A man has appeared in court charged with murder after a woman was found dead in her flat.
The body of Senga Closs, 47, from Uddingston, South Lanarkshire, was found in a property in the town on Saturday.
Steven McCall, 43, was charged with murder when he appeared in private on petition at Hamilton Sheriff Court today, the Crown Office said.
He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
