SIX-YEAR-OLD Jess Lockwood-Holmes admires Tom Whalen's sculpture of a woman with her new baby.
Maternity, which Leith sculptor Whalen designed in 1935, is one of the highlights of an exhibition in Edinburgh showcasing the work of Scots visual artists. The exhibits are at the A-Z of Scottish Art at the City Arts Centre until November 16.
