MOST of us simply dream of a free upgrade to business class or simply scoring a seat with extra legroom.

But for the world's super-rich, luxury international travel means more than a complimentary glass of champagne or stainless steel cutlery with your in-flight meal.

In Donald Trump's case, it means an entire Boeing 757 all to yourself.

The infamously-coiffed businessman bought the jet, which seats up to 43 and comes with a private bedroom complete with double bed and marble en-suite bathroom, from Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen in 2011.

Dubbed a "presidential suite in the sky", it is decorated with suede ceilings, gold-leaf seatbelts and South African mahogany panelling, and has become the billionaire's personal plane. And there were also plenty of cashew nuts in the kitchen cupboard, according to one eagle-eyed journalist taking a tour of the plane.

It will soon host dozens of paying customers jetting into Prestwick for the ultimate golfing holiday if the Apprentice host's vision for Turnberry comes to fruition.

As reporters and photographers milled around the interior yesterday - following Mr Trump's strict shoes-off policy - it was easy to see the attraction to those who can afford it.

Beige leather armchairs, a fully-stocked bar, coffee tables, corner sofas, a private lounge and microwaves for every entrepreneur's Pot Noodle needs - it offers the height in comfort.

There is no word yet on the price tag for a trip to Turnberry on the Trump jet.

But, as they say: "If you have to ask, you probably can't afford it".
