SCOTS rockers Runrig brought the curtain down on this year’s Hebridean Celtic music festival on the Isle of Lewis last night.

It was the 21st edition of Heb Celt to be held in Stornoway - attracting around 15,000 fans across the three day sell out which featured the likes of Julie Fowlis, Hayseed Dixie and the Red Hot Chilli Pipers.

Festival director Caroline Maclennan said: “It’s been fantastic.”

The event has been worth over £20m to the Western Isles economy since it began.
