Images have emerged of the aftermath of the usually-thriving luxury Cameron House hotel as it lies charred out on the banks of Loch Lomond.
The five-star venue went up in flames early on Monday morning and took more than 70 firefighters to fight the fatal blaze after the alarm was raised at around 6.40am.

The images show the scale of the disaster with the top-floor windows of the building’s iconic tower shattered, giving a look into the burnt-out rooms.
As reported by The Herald, two guests who died following the fire have been named locally.
Simon Midgley and Richard Dyson, both from London, were sightseeing across Glasgow this week, according to social media.
Police Scotland have yet to release a statement on the identification of the victims.
One of the men died at the scene on Monday morning and another passed away at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.

Three other people, a family of two adults and a child, were taken to hospital in Glasgow but have since been discharged.
The cause of the fire is not yet known but the roof of the hotel has been extensively damaged.
